Our keynote speaker will be Prof. John Hu from West Virginia Univsersity
After the Symposium and Meeting on Thursday the 11th, we will have TWO optional events for members of TSCS on Friday September 12th.
CAER Visit: University of Kentucky operates the Center for Applied Energy Research. The center does cutting-edge research with both the university and industry. They have several one-of-a-kind facilities and interesting research projects. Join us in the morning for this event! There is no cost to attend. Please register by 8/15 so we can plan.
Bourbon Trail Tour: We will visit two distilleries with Custom Bourbon Tours. We will have a charter bus and a tour guide and go behind the scenes to see how grain becomes Kentucky’s most famous libation. This will only happen if we have enough interest. We need about 15 people to commit BUT there is a cap of 22. So if you’re interested, register before May 9th to reserve your spot. This is NOT free. The cost will be about $200 depending on how many people sign up.
